Helo

I have n810 since 2 months, fell in love from first moment i touch it and now its not booting up...... symptoms are following:
- i turn it on with no power cord: no effect.
- i plug the power, logo screen a peers for 5 seconds and is gone (shadow of nokia logo stays for a while)
- Plug the power cord while holding power switch pressed on - blue led and screen with logo turns on for few seconds and gone.

I did the fridge trick few times and no change ... no way to get to console, usb dont bring any change, different power sockets also dont bring any change (it did for some one ). Ohh.. it was so nice device and now its bricked.

I dont have warranty because i bought it as display unit from ebay, i live in Poland - local nokia branch dont support n810 at all ..

Any one of you have idea what to do ? im really desperate to bring it back to live !

Thanx for any help

Did you put in a full battery or brand new one ? Original or replacement ?

If some one from Warsaw is reading that threat and could lend me a battery for a sec, i would be really glad ;D Battery to n810 is very hard to get in that part of world ...

The N810 is not affected by the power issues the N800 experienced. Is your charger actually functional?

Don't ask for it as a N8x0 battery, just say BP-4L, or say 'the one for E61i/ E71/ E90'. What I did when I managed to drive my N810 into a low-battery reboot loop is find one of the above mentioned phones in a Nokia shop and insert my empty battery in it and charge it a while. After that, it had enough power to go through the boot process and actually start charging.

Nope, the N810 uses BP-4L. IIRC 5L is used in N770 and N800.
