Hi all,

Does anyone else find that if they have the phone in their pocket for a length of time or its a hot day that the phone become un-responsive, such as the screen not coming on for a few minutes after opening the slider.

Its also very sluggish, this is with nothing open.

Lastly the battery drains something terrible on hot days

Anyone have these issues ?

I have the same issues, but for me they were extras devel related. ESPECIALLY buggy widgets, or a lot of them that tries to update at once when you unlock the device. I think this is software problem. My phone gets HOT, I am Greece currently , but i don't think this is the case. Also buggy soft explains battery drainage.

Only things I would have open all the time would be below

IP Widget
Twitter Widget
FB Widget (Not Nokias one)

But usually the wifi is switched off so should not try to connect.

very strange and annoying

Check if something is giving load to the cpu all the time? When idling cpu should be sleeping allmost all the time without any load.

Here is Batterygraph pic from this N900.

Should not Well now you jogged my memory I remember what caused the problem, it's offline mode (or wifi switcher) with some widgets that update from the internet. That would make my screen un unlockable. Now i got rid of facebook, rss, and twitter newer got any problems.

ill need to install that app, but also this is not all the time, just on hot days (i live in Ireland so not many) and even then only when phone is in pocket, so again extra heat.

not sure if this is of any use to anyone but my device shut down a few days ago during a video call. It lasted 20 mins and the device was plugged in (obviously with video) - it became unbearably hot and then crashed. Wasnt a friendly crash either. So much for skype video calls
