It's my first time to use Wordpy on N810. I setup an blogger account via publishing -> preference -> Accounts. But when I click get, it will report "Error getting blogs. Do you have an internet connection?". At the same time, I can log in www.blogger.com via browser. And when I try to publish one article, it will report "error publishing article".

Can any one help me on this issue? Thanks!

Hi.

My first suggestion is to check if you have written the password correctly, if you have the general option for auto capitalization activated, the first letter is a capital one and could be the cause of the error.
Also, the username is the complete user@gmail.com

With Blogger you need get the blogs you have and choose one, if not publish won't work.

If nothing of this works I will have to look more in depth that version. Actually I am going to publish the new one in the stable repository in the next days.

Looks like it's caused by unstable connection, I can get title once but failed in all publishing.

It's so strange. It's almost not usable for me but I can publish via web browser without any issue.

Are you behind a proxy or with a phone connection?

You will understand with so little information there aren't many things I can do
It could help launch it from the terminal, as says tso. In that version the binary is called "MaemoWordPy".

Thanks for the help. I'm using Linksys AP + ADSL at home.

When I failed in getting blog, the error message is:
/usr/bin/MaemoWordPy:3872: GtkWarning: gtk_widget_send_expose: assertion `GTK_WIDGET_REALIZED (widget)` failed
result = add_dialog.run()

When failed in publishing article, the error message is:
/usr/bin/MaemoWordPy:4427: GtkWarning: gtk_paint_layout: assertion `style->depth == gdk_drawable_get_depth (window)` failed
gtk.main()

Thanks.

It seems something bad with the gtk widgets (the UI).

The new version (I will release it in two weeks), has a revamped and very different UI, and I hope this bug doesn't happen in that version.

So, please wait two weeks for the new version

I had 2 issues when using wordpy. One was resolved, the other wasn't.
1....the password had to be cut and pasted into the wordpy field from a text document, otherwise the password always failed.

2....After completing a post (to blogger), and publishing it, I would get a message saying that publishing was successful......yet it never appeared on the blog. Turns out that posts via wordpy *always* got put into bloggers "scheduled" list of posts that it had recieved. The only way to actually publish such a post, was to log on via another computer (since the captcha always defeated doing this via the n810) and telling blogger to publish. I checked and rechecked all possible blogger settings, nothing worked (and "publish immediately" *is* checked).

I ended up just posting now via email from any email program. Posts still never get actually published, but it's less hassle this way.
