Hi,
I tried to add "Del", "Home", etc to the shortcut toolbar in the xterm (OS2008, N800, bash). I tried KP_Home and things like that, but either they do nothing, or just write a '~' on the screen.

Bummer. Home works for user and root and bash is my default shell. I'm using the latest Diablo. These also work for user and root: End KP_Left KP_Right KP_Up KP_Down. There's nothing special about my .bashrc except some added aliases.
Oh, and here's what my root shortcut looks like:
r,o,o,t,KP_Enter

Are you using bash 2.05b or bash 3.2? I have the tilde problem with 2.05b.
I tried to add "Del", "Home", etc to the shortcut toolbar in the xterm (OS2008, N800, bash). I tried KP_Home and things like that, but either they do nothing, or just write a '~' on the screen. Under 'sudo gainroot' some work, though. I tried with and without the .bashrc file with identical results. It seems that the osso_xterm is not catching the key sequence correctly.
What am I missing?
Thanks!!
L.
