Get a wireless router ASAP. Life is a pain without WiFi.

Just to be perfectly accurate (for the newbie's sake), you can install apps without wifi, but like GeneralAntilles (GA) said, it's not as easy. you basically have to copy 1 installation file (*.deb format) onto your mem card (using whatever method you like) for each app you want to install, and then run each deb on your tablet, and it will install. but sometimes 1 app needs other apps (dependencies), and you won't find out until you try installing it, then you'll have to go back to your computer and find debs for those other apps, and then go to back to your tablet and install those first, and hope that the dependencies don't have dependencies of their own, and so on and so forth. if you have internet access, you use Application Manager to find the app you want to install, and all dependencies will be downloaded and installed automatically.

too bad wireless routers haven't gotten any cheaper in the past few years. i mean, whatever happened to moore's law?

oh, and yes, you can connect to the net via USB, but it's not supported by nokia. it's not easily done. but here's a thread about it, if you're curious:
