Any suggestions on how to erase multiple emails on the Nokia 770 at the same time? I've got about 60 or so on my device, can't believe the only way to get rid of them is to select them one at a time, then press the trash icon.

as far as i remember (my 770 died) you can select multiple messages even on the 770, it's just not obvious how to do it:
tap on a message that's not highlighted (starting with the currently highlighted one would result in a drag&drop action) and move up/down in the list. that should select all mails you touch. then you can delete them all.
