Hi!

I've tried to configure USB networking and surprisingly it worked From xterm I can access internet. But when I try to use firefox it attempts to "establish connection". How can I "teach" it, that connection is already established?

apt-get install libicd-network-dummy
gconftool -t string -s /system/osso/connectivity/IAP/DUMMY/type DUMMY

Hm. Does not help. I can see both Usb and Dummy networks in the list of connections (Control panel -> Connectivity -> Connections), but when browser starts and attempts to connect, the list of connections to choose from contains only the one for my mobile phone. If I delete this one, then it finds no connections at all.

Aha, found solution in other thread. The command should be

gconftool -s -t string /system/osso/connectivity/IAP/DEFAULT/type DUMMY

At least it worked
