It will work just fine with your N810 
I use my 770's charger, my 810's, and an old Nokia phone's all interchangeably. They all have worked well in the other's place.

The n810 charger OUTPUT specs are as follows; 5V @ 890mA
What are the specs of your 770 charger?

The charger for my n810 was recently stolen
(long story short...don't keep your GPS in the center console of your car)
Anyway, I would like to charge my n810 with what I have at the moment. Should I do it or not? Thanks
