I'm supposing you've looked through this wiki and this thread (which would have been a good place for your post)? If you determine whether or not that specific device works, it would be great if you could post your conclusion in one or both of those places.

Work for what? That's the recommended USB 2.0 hub/ethernet adapter for the BeagleBoard. What's the power issue?

er, the act that the n800's usb power output is very limited and barely sufficient to drive a keyboard!

That's why I asked, I didn't see where you mentioned your usage needs. I assumed that you were interested in an ethernet connection for your n8x0. Unfortunately, the USB hub you linked to doesn't seem to come with the 5 volt power adapter, but you could always buy that separately. Most USB hub manufacturers throw-in the power adapter these days, and USB hub power jacks have a standard barrel diameter and polarity.
