Hello,
Besides Maemo.org, what other sites will be strong resources for the N900 community? I have a Samsung Eternity for my wife and there is Samsung-Eternity.com which is awesome! What sites besides Maemo.org are there for the N900?

Thanx!

I guess there is symbian-freak and maemo-freak or something like that. This is the best place IMO.

Howard Forums could develop into another potentially good resource on the telephony side of things.

I believe following http://maemo.org/news is basically enough, since most of the meat from other sites is aggregated and rated there.

Don't know where you are from. I know one large Dutch IT community called Gathering of Tweakers. Although it isn't a N900 community the news site regularly publishes about Maemo and Nokia N900. The forum, quite large, contains a Maemo / N900 thread and this is pretty informative and alive. The advantage is local/own language, useful to hunt device in stores, talk about keyboard layout, data plans. Disadvantage is that other places are simply more informative, complete, quicker with reports, and other cultural viewpoints are refreshing. It really depends on why you want to go to a Maemo or N900 community.

amen.
(Symbian-Freak is an S60/Symbian site. Maemo-Freak is our new Maemo community portal for news and a dedicated forum, but it won't be public until...today hopefully. Ugh! I'm swamped!!

MF is a combination of a wide range of ages, from 13-65, but mostly teens and tweens with hacking and developing experience, alongside new users and mostly Symbian power users moving to the Maemo space. Our percentage of college graduates is higher than most places, and the atmosphere is more laid back and friendly than other forums.)
