So I need to get a phone that I plan to use entirely for texting. I want to be able to use phonelink to send sms through my n810. I understand there are a lot of phones that will not work with phone link, so I need some advice on which phone that i have available to me is more likely to work with phonelink. The models I can get are...

MOTOKRZR
Samsung u410
Motorola w385

Any advice would be appreciated.

there was a page on the ITT wiki ... But I don't know where it went when we moved to TMO
phones that worked or not where listed on this page ...

PhoneLink uses gnokii so you can also check on gnokii.org ...

I wouldn't recommend Samsung as their bluetooth implementation is not up to par ...
I don't have any experience with motorola phones ...

Edit : Google gave me a link

Avoid the w385! I have one and while it is an ok phone and allows Bt tethering for internet....PhoneLInk DOES NOT recognize it.

Awesome!

So the samsung and w385 are out of the questions. The MOTOKRZR is only $25 less then one with a qwerty keyboard, so i tihnk im just going to spring for one with the keyboard.

Thanks everyone!
