After finding an app through NITdroid on Android called memory card speed test iirc, and the ease of use of this app, I tried searching for a similar maemo app. I am not aware of one. With so mamy fake cards on the market and some cards without class marked on them, it would be very handy just to insert the micro sd and the app to run tests to determine the speed and class. Booting into NITdroid just to do this is a bit of a pain in the arse. I do not posses the skills to make an app like this, but would very much appreciate anyone who does, to make the app. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who would find this usefull.

Thanks for the reply. I don't have easy debian installed. It's too much of a big install just to use for that. What I am after really is a small app speciffically for testing cards. But thanks anyway.
