Hi, when you flash the N800, you get a green progress bar.

Anybody know where it is located? I want to replace the blue one with that one. I'm guessing in initfs or NOLO but I am unsure.

Thank you.

jellotherat posted instructions in this thread on how to replace the startup screens, including the progress bar. While a location for the green variant isn't listed, you should be able to use the instructions to copy the blue one, qgn_indi_progressbar.png, to another computer and change its color in an image editor.

Thank you. I know how to replace the progress bar but I really like the shade of green of the updating flash one.

Someone posted stuff about startup logo... Let me look. Here you go: This post tells how to change the logo; presumably the image file name was the same in the old OS2007. (Which used a green progress bar; I believe the same as used when flashing, so just get that.)

Edit: Slow... But I do think the OS2007 bar is the same as used in flashing.

Then get to 'shoppin'!

I bet it's probably on there with NOLO somewhere.

@Benson, thanks .

I will reboot into linux and extract the OS2007 image file.

*fingers crossed*

@General

I cannot photoshop to save my life

The only thing I did was to change the Walkman avatar I hold in another forum by replacing the l with the n...

I have no idea how to get to NOLO, time to research...

ImageMagick; better than Photoshop for this sorta stuff; you just do what you want done.

After wrestling with mtdblock to mount the os2007 jffs2 image, it turns out it uses a dark purple.

Ah well, no worries . Thank you for trying anyway

initfs can be mounted as jffs2 so I could mount that but I have a idea it wouldn't be in there because that is flashed when flashing the bin image.

Is it possible to extract NOLO image?
