I dont knw if anyone else has faced this issue but sometimes incoming ringtone/messagetone kinda hangs. As in the sound gets stuck at a particular place and then completes..its just for fraction of second but is irritating if ur at some quiet place like at work.
So wondering if anyone else faced the same issue...tried searching the forum bt didnt find anyone else talkin abt it,

Probably some, but question is why you have this issue?

If you have not yet seen any thread where people are advised to debug their own system here is some hints:
- List apps what you have installed
(in xterm you can run maemo-list-user-packages, Hint: after typing maemo-l tap tab button once/twice to see other commands and continue with i and tap tab again and it autocompletes command)
- What widgets are you using?
- Do you use official ringtones?
- Do you have applications constantly running?
- Have you updated to PR 1.2?

i am very particular when it comes to apps so i havnt insalled any thing from extra's at all. The Sms tone is the original stil that hangs. I dont keep any constant running widgets like weather or fb....but hey even if i did i dont expect to hang tat way. i hv 1.2 running, but didnt face this issue in previous firmwares.... so wonder if its a bug like the screen glitch during incoming call .

Using official ringtones???
Our powerfull n900 can't handle "standard ringtones"???
omg.
And yes, same here (perhaps slighty different) After extracting n900 of its bag, after the nice "portrait phone bug", the ringtone stops playing while phone still waiting for red or green button to be tapped.

WTF? Who has said something like that? Also "standard ringtones" is joke as is "standard video file" what does it mean? Why my "standard" .avi file from teh internets is not working....ohmmmm letīs see. o.O

Sounds really bad. Did you try to replace it? I do not have that issue currently. Had same kind of problems after fooling around in delve/testing and had to do rootfs+emmc flashing and everything worked again.

Neither would I expect if i had problems like you but then again you have (and i do not) and you have couple of options:
- Do it yourself and try to look for fix with maybe help from community here (this is not and never will be Nokia support, just people having...or at least trying to have fun and helping people on their freetime)
- Contact Nokia support

So it could be bug what you are facing. IIRC we have seen really weird corrupted EMMC (memory inside phone) issues and lots of (too much) widget issues.

Run xterm and run command:
top
It shows you processes that are currently running do you see anything (ignore xorg it should be around ~2-3% of CPU) other taking cpu, of course close applications first.

I try to find bug report from bugzilla and letīs see if there is any hints what to do. Iīm a bit afraid that it might be some HW problem.

.edit
Something from allmighty google (also power search on right side is good, powered also by google)

Are you using bluetooth? Stuttering from day one? Stuttering always? If not then when?
