It would be helpful if you could tell us what operating system you are using.

Linux? Windows? Mac?

Have you installed PC Suite?
EDIT: You should be able to view MyDocs, even though you do not have PC Suite installed.

That's a windows 7 issue (what a surprise)..

Method 1 (If autorun.inf file is present)

Go to control panel then folder options. Press tab view and check view hidden files and folders.

Then go to the device not opening and explore it. Look if you see autorun.inf and if present delete it. Then disconnect usb device from system and reconnect it.

Method 2 (If autorun.inf file isn't present)

Go to command prompt and write the following.

attrib -s -r -h X:\autorun.inf

press enter and then write

del X:\autorun.inf

press enter and after this disconnect usb device from system and reconnect it.

Note: Please notice that X means the drive letter (F:\, G:\, etc).

So you're saying you could use this properly at one time, but now you can't?

To me, this sounds like a problem with the computer not the N900. Do you have another usb port to plug into, on this computer or some other one?

Sounds like a program other than explorer is trying to view folder, can you right click on n900 drive and click explore?
