I reflashed my device and then used the restore function and now I can't find midnight commander.

It is not in my installed apps and I cannot find it to download even though I have opened up the devs and testing catalogues. Does anyone know what could have happened to it?

it's called MC in extras-devel

you wont find it by typing midnight commander.

What is holding it from landing in extra-testing?

Help improve N900, vote for:
Information about what the email client is doing
Find applications easily with tags for sub-menus
A better help system
Limit download of emails per connection type (don't fetch attachments)
A better use of internal flash

the maintainer has to promote it to -testing.
only the promotion to extras (from testing) is semi-automatical by number of positive votes.
