Without a data plan or wireless connection OVI Maps will constantly (every 5 seconds or so) show an errormessage blocking the view to the map:
"No saved connections available"
And this even if it has GPS lock and shows your correct location.
This is very annoying - specially while driving!
Already disabled things like:
Settings - Network positioning
Internet Connections - Switch to Wi-Fi when available
and also disabled Wi-Fi with the program called Wi-Fi switcher but to no avail.
Why does OVI maps not have a possibility to disregard assisted GPS?
Offline GPS is the only GPS mode I will use, so if I don't find a way to switch this annoying error message off I will return this device and get my money back.
