I have lost some of my contacts on my n900, and I don't know if this is a bug in the built in apps or was caused by installing account-plugin-butterfly from extras-testing.
I had imported all of my contacts yesterday from sim cards, over bluetooth, from skype ccount, and spent some time using the neat merge contacts feature to merge different phone numbers, as well as skype contacts and emails.
Today I installed account-plugin-butterfly and set up an msn account, which seemed to work (although I didn't actually try chatting). Later I noticed that some contacts had disappeared, but I am not sure if it had happened already before installing this app from testing. It seems that mostly contacts that had been merged with skype contacts got either split again, or the phone part got deleted completely.
As you can see, I can't really pin down the problem. Did anyone see something similar?
In the mean time i've reimported everything, and used the backup application (it does back up contacts, doesn't it?)
