I seem to have and oddity on my n900 machine.

When I use IM, sometimes there is a significant delay between the time I write something and the moment it arrives on the other side. This happens with MSN, Skype IM as well as Facebook IM.

As a result it sometimes happens that I write some message that arrives 10 minutes later. In the mean time other messages get through, so the time line gets mixed up.

On my desktop machine I have noticed in the past that Skype sometimes is slow sending the messages over, but this problem does not seem to be limited to Skype only so it brought me to think perhaps there is something going on my n900.

So, I guess the question is: Has anyone else noticed significant delays while using IM text?

PS: I used the search engine here on the site and googled but could not find anything on the topic. Apologies if there have been postings on this already.
