Hi

I recently activated my T-Mobile SIM card on my N900 and was using 02 prior to that. Skype worked perfectly on 02 but with T-Mobile after a few seconds the voice becomes very choppy and is impossible to understand. My signal coverage seems strong, 3G and almost full bars.
Just wondering if T-Mobile UK is somehow blocking this service? Anyone else experiencing problems? Might try another SIM card to see if it works...

Thanks

Just found this link which suggests that T-Mobile blocks it!
I\m not happy. Should've gotten the vodaphone contract via MPD rather than T-Mobile (MPD)

Sounds like you have to be on the Web and Walk Max plan. I'm only Web and Walk

Checking to see how much extra it is. Still wish I'd known earlier

I've read comments that vodaphone officially block it but unofficially dont.
T-Mobile wants to charge me an extra 22.50 pounds per month to allow usage of Skype! The cheek.
Can anyone recommend a way around this? Maybe by using an intermediate server to forward the packets to Skype's servers? Apparently using a VPN is the way to go. I'll investigate and see if I can figure something out but any suggestions would be appreciated!
