I believe, that they are unbranded/sim free phones with a bolt on voda contract.
Actually I know coz I checked and got an email back from MDP.

My confusion is surrounding the Vodafone "release" of the N900.
According to a few places such as http://www.itpro.co.uk/617539/n900-t...ne-in-november and the vodafone forums themselves, Voda IE are releasing it, and the rest may not be sure yet....
Well, surely the UK market must be ready for it, as i pre-ordered a new voda contract at the end of september?
Or does this possibly mean my pre-order will wait for Voda to decide what they are doing?
Or do i ignore my whole worry because actually i'm going through MPD on a voda contract, and technically thats a third party so doesnt count? - all so confusing for lil'old me!
Meh - would be helpful if someone can enlighten me
