Hi guys,

The N9 is getting closer to the release date so I figured that someone ought to make a treat for those special app that are coming ofr the two devices.

Of course, many apps will be available through the Ovi store, however, my idea is that this thread will add links to app that are being developed and afterwards download them here or via the ovi store.

I will start with some of the apps that are being developed so you may ge my idea that way.

BTW: Acknowledgements: should be given to the developers!

EMULATOR:
AntSNES, description and download link is provided

FILE MANAGER:
File Manager (...)
The goal was to make something that looked like it was shipped with the OS and replicated the ease of use of a desktop file manager (eg, no marking files, hitting copy and then having to trawl through a custom folder menu -- with this app you simply hit 'Copy', navigate to the destination and tap 'Copy Here').

Key features are:

Simple to use with a native look and feel (light and dark theme)
'Copy/paste' methodology for copying and moving files (no trawling through a seperate folder menu)
Flexible options on error or duplicate file
Smart icons and image previews
Share files using the system share menu (thanks to Bulfaiter for assistance with this)

QAD file manager, will also be available on Ovi Store:
QAD File Manager is a system utility for advanced users. User can browse the file system inside the device and open files in external applications. User can share device filesystem over http and then browse it using any browser available.

GEOLOCATION APPS:
Smart Shopper
The application for assistance in the shopping trip. Helps quickly create and edit shopping lists. The most interesting feature of the application is the reminders, that use the geographic coordinates of the shops. All the known shops, for which there are shopping lists, could be tracked by GPS. And You will be reminded when You walk near one of these shops.

GESTURES
MyMoves is an app for creating new moves!
fx open your calender, contact or alike
MyMoves is an attempt to bring configurable
gestures to Harmattan, written in QML/C++. The idea of MyMoves is to be able to create a gesture, and attach an arbitrary shell command into it.

Hi,

I'm the developer of CuteTunes. Video streaming isn't supported and likely won't be for a while.

Implementing it is fairly simple, it's just not on my list of priorities. I'm just not a fan of videos on such a small screen. That's what my Vega/Laptop are for.

Apologies if there is some confusion.

FYI: the most complete software catalog for Harmattan (N9/N950) is available at www.my-meego.com.

The same goes for Fremantle (N900): www.my-maemo.com.

Credits go to Michał Jerz for his effort maintaining those software catalogs.
