I have read a few posts of things being wrong with the n900, (such as mic) and was wondering if there was a functionality check list. I hate to have the phone for a while only to find out I missed something not working.

So my question is...What things should I check when I get the unit?

I would have to say its a hardware check list, as I'm sue most things could be fixed with a software update.

So...what should I test when I get it?

-Mic
-Backlight (check for evenness)
-Keyboard light (check for any light leakage)
-Dead/stuck pixels
-General stability (see if it reboots randomly)

These are the general issues that one may face.

I think the only other is accelerometer issues - good to check that before and after a reboot too!
