Hey guys, whats up ... I have had a N900 for a while now, and I was under the impression that if I switch my phone to portrait orientation, then the Phone app should automatically open up .. However, this is not happening for me .. Is this the same for everyone, or is it just me ?

Check the settings... Are you sure you have that option turned on? Because it's not like that by default.. And mine does go into the phone app when I switch to portrait mode.

To turn on that option:

Open the Phone Application, then tap on the word Phone on top (next to the X or the close button) then choose Turning control, then it's obvious from there..

If it's still not working then check if the accelerometer is actually working by like playing Bounce or something.
