Hey there,im new to the forums,and coming from the iphone and loving the dplayer (a music download and search manager),i wanted to know if theres something like that for the n900 too,that is,in the same vain as limewire etc..

i dont think there will be because of the possibility of misuse (illegal music downloads)

at least not in the maemo repos, maybie unofficial

Which is a bit weird. You'd think a bittorrent client would've attracted enough testers already.

You know, since we download so many Linux isoz.

the torrent network is not illegal

and torrents are widely used for any kind of files

bittorrent itself is not illegal

the servers and clients thats provide the illegal stuff are at fault

limewire itself uses a network where you can search and find illegal stuff, therefore i think there wont officialy be any kind of this applications released

maemo is linux based, if you ever tried one on your pc you would recognize that just because it uses and itself is opensource, the is not any illegl stuff on the official repositories
