So first off, I have only Pidgin and Cpumem-applet the reduced version. I just installed cpumem yesterday and havent rebooted. Today my phone died.

Turned it back on and it was extremely laggy. Foreca kept saying "waiting for data" but never arrived. I rebooted 3 times, still laggy. Finally turn off the phone removed the battery and it was fine but Foreca still wasn't working.

So I uninstalled it, and then tried to reinstall by re-adding the widget. Since then nothing has happened, the widget shortcut to add is gone, and its not anywhere in the menu.

In app uninstaller the foreca installer still exists. lag is gone. How can I retrieve foreca?

I want the phone to be as near factory as possible in the case I want to go back. I'm new to nokia and their OS so i dont know how to find it in file manager. can someone help me try to keep it as close to factory without lagging it or possibly bricking it? or do i have to restore.

i think the foreca service is having problems. Mine is also showing waiting for data.

You still have the foreca installer but not the actual foreca widget. Install the widget again using the foreca installer app from the app menu.

i went to app installer, i dont see where i can install it. only uninstall the installer. download doesnt seem to have it.

where would i go in the app manager? foreca is completely gone from my app menu.

well i jus checked my app manager, apparently foreca weather is still installed. i dont see the widget to add. saw it once and it disappeared. gone from all app menus. searched my file manager and found nothing.

can someone please jus help me retrieve it without reflashing? or restore? is that the only option i have?

very new to maemo otherwise if it were a pc or mac id be up and running. thanks

If its still installed then you wont see it available for install, uninstall it then it will re-appear in the apps menu

edit: nvm. only thing from foreca in uninstaller is the app installer. so i cant tell anymore if its installed or not. nonetheless i can even find an installer or the program itself..
