I have the N900 for 2 weeks now and i installed the pc-connectivity and it worked great (the first time) now i can't connect to it using ssh but that is another problem.
My question is this:
I used rsync (ubuntu) and copied everything from my N900 to my laptop including the OS partition a total of +/- 1.5GB. When my N900 crashes for some reason (playing with it and porting software to it) can i just copy the full backup back and does it then run like it did when i made the backup? or is it going to give errors and stuff?
Maybe someone knows a Ubuntu partition magic/ghost-like version that i can run from my ubuntu OS and not a bootable cd/dvd? So a can simply make a image of the N900 OS partition.
