How bout an app for a animated desktop wallpaper? These are tablets not phones, right? I remembered seeing an archos 5 animated wallpaper. I think this could be kinda cool. Running the video across the screens would be extra cool.

The counter argument is that it will drain battery life, but why not I say? 
The desktop code is open, or you could just create a large applet that covers the whole screen I guess.

thats wat I figured, y not? just give the user the ability to disable it without uninstalling it to save battery life.

How about 4 html browser pages as the background? That way we can attach Flash, and that's my field. I'd love to make some stuff, even if just animated and not interactive.
