If you updated your phone to the new firmware you can now go into portrait mode via WEB BROWSING!! Just hit SHIFT CTRL AND O and watch the magic happen!

There should be a "Let me Search that for you on talk.maemo.org" like the "Let me Google that for you".. Then we can start posting that to people until they get annoyed and then finally learn how to use the search function.

I didn't know till now, so this thread was not completely useless. Also had never a reason to search for that. I just thought portrait mode was only available for the phone app and some other community apps. Now i know better.
