I just tried to update my new 770 using nokia's directions. But it only downloaded and installed the latest version of os 2006. Where the heck do I get os 2007? Thats the version I want isnt it?? I'm so confused. HELP!

I'm relatively new here, but from what I understand, paintbb84, you don't get OS 2007 on a 770, only a N800....

Think if you read more on the forums you'll find a thread regarding 'upgrading the 770'....

OS2007 is available but its a "hacker" version. Not a true consumer release. Do a search and you'll find out where it is, but be warned, its not supported in any way.

Yes, there will not be OS2007 on N770 and even the support was dropped by Nokia.
I bought my N770 in February 2007 ...

Just two words:
Never again ...
