What's up everyone?! I need help uninstalling "rootsh" as it will not let me do so without a fight! I get a "Unable to uninstall" when attempting to remove it. I did in fact look at the other threads similiar and attempt to follow the process but to no avail. I don't know how to use it anyway and I find that my N900 seems to run well with fewer programs. Thanks for your time!

Just leave it. It doesn't use any space or system resources so uninstalling it will make no difference in performance. And you may find you need it later anyway.

Your right but if I wanted to uninstall it how would I do that? If their no harm in doing so I can just reinstall it right. I'm just starting over and install apps one by one is all.

If you want a clean 'start-over', reflashing is better.

However, I do sympathize - there's no reason why you shouldn't be able to uninstall it if you want to - doesn't matter what the reason. However, I never tried, so I honestly don't know how you'd do it. Hopefully someone else will know.

Rootsh gives you permission to own your device.. without it the device will own you.

In a windows environment.. would an uninstall mean to be contained to only use My Documents.. touching anything outside of that would not be permitted.
