Hi to all. I just canceled my contract on AT&t and I want to move on T-Mo... I know there's a non-contract on T-Mo.. but I just wanted to know what should I choose to be able to get a 3g connection on it.. which internet option there should I choose.. Also, do I need to get a phone.. or I just need the sim card for it? thanks....

You can buy the plan online and add the sim card to the cart and not buy an phone you can get the even more plus plan that's the one without an contract or just go to the store and buy the plan and get the sim card free since it comes with the plan

When you go to t-mobile site click shopping. On that page there is a link saying something to the effect keep your phone and switch. That'll take you to the even more plus plans i believe and you just select sim and your plan. Hope that helps you.

It will be appended to your next bill, and you'll be paying the full price of TXT w/o a plan (On ATT I remember it was somewhere around $.40, I dont know what it is on tmobile since I have unlimited TXT )

1. Transfer your phone # to T-Mobile
2. Even if you don't, get a Google Voice #
3. Opt for Even More Plus without the contract
4. Ask for the cheapest web plan (web2go, t-zones) - tell them you have 'some Nokia phone, not a real smartphone', just to check mail and news
5. Once activated, change APN to epc.tmobile.com and enjoy 1Mbps for $9.99/month
6. Use Google Voice for FREE SMS inbound and outbound

It appeared to me that you had to actually call them to get a plan without getting a phone, unless you went with one of the official prepaid plans.
