Hi,

I have been using N900 for more than a month. Yesterday I was sending message to my friend and due to some reason, I decided not to send the same. I just closed my messaging application.

Today, I want to send new message to other friend. I clicked on "New SMS", but still yesterday's message appear.

I can clear message text, but, I am not able to select new friend now. Still yesterday's friend appears in "To". I am not able to deselect him. Long press on UI is also not helping me to get "DELETE" menu.

Any idea how to do this? Even rebooting phone is not helping me.

Also wanted to know how to send multiple SMSs. (Means sending same message to many at a time).

when you are in the text composing window you can click top left on "TO:" and choose multiple contacts

and if the message is still saved just click on the bar and click "delete message".
to delete the contact right from "TO:" just click in this field, pop the keyboard out and hit backspace to delete the name. afterwards you can type a new text and choose new contacts (click on "TO:") to which you want to send the message.

You can clear the SMS by selecting the user name in the "To" box, and using the keyboard to delete the user. Pressing the "To" button will then present the full list again.

Just select multiple users in the "To" dialogue.

Works for me. I think you have found some bug.
Have you tried to go TO field with keyboard. just press up.

If this helps:
I assume that you have tried backspace?
then it's time for you to *facepalm* :P

Oh..!!!

I just forgot about backspace button..!!! It helped.

But, there is bug..

When you close conversation and again reopen the same, it will show you last unfinished message. On pressing "To" shows only last contact selected. I am not able to select other contact here.

Either I have to clear the contact by backspace and then only "To" will show all contacts which you can select.

or

I have to first select last contact then press "Done" and again pressing "TO" will show you all contacts..then only you can select newer one and deselect previous one.

I think this is bug. In first place itself on pressing TO you should get entire contact list...best is discarding entire unfinished message if you close messaging application. (any how it does not take much time to retype the same )
