Seriously, do you even bother to look around a bit before you post?

Questions, questions, questions. I don't mind answering a question, but damn, Gina! Search around a bit before you sign up to just ask questions.

Do you know what 2G means? 3G? 3.5G?

Why don't you start there.

posting questions here is the best way to "look around".

search the forum before you post the question is the best way to look around. and for a generic question like yours you can directly search google. I am sorry but directly posting question is NOT the best way to go about

ouch! sorry Maeomo, but you had that one coming. The different states are showing what type of connection to the mobile network your phone is getting - it's heavily location dependant, so will change depending on whether you re in a city or countryside, and whether you are in/outdoors etc. Bigger the number, faster max data rate you will get (and more oyur battery will get bled dry).

I seldom LOL (or feel the need to exprss it) on a forum, but "That one Guy" - that link was a real work of art :-)
