Can someone please tell me how to add an icon to http://maemo.org/packages? For example, how to add an icon here and here?

Thanks

http://wiki.maemo.org/Documentation/...ributing#Icons

and

http://hildon-app-mgr.garage.maemo.o...ing-devel.html

could be helpful.
The second link is a little outdated, I think, in terms of field name and icon size, but it provides a nice example and is better to read.

Thanks, but on those pages they speak of the icon displayed in the Application Manager. I got that working. What I meant, is the icon/logo on the actual page of the package in maemo.org website.

maemo.org/packages uses the icon from the package in exactly the same way App Manager does.

However, I remember X-Fade saying there was a cronjob to extract them, so it won't appear immediately.

Oh, OK. But it is strange that with Currency Converter there is this image not found thingy, but with Countdown Timer there is no image at all. Both of the them show the icon just fine in Application Manager.

they should appear fine automatically ( as mentioned already after a while ).
dont know if this is a hint, but did you have your icon files in all the sizes, 26x26, 40x40, 64x64 ?
i wonder what is used where, but ive put them in all directories during the packaging as per the development guide. its worked ok for me so far.

Have a look in the developer FAQ.

Yes, I got only those two sizes. That is, 48x48 and 64x64 pixels. So it should work. Guess I just have to be patient and wait then.

Does anyone know for how long I should be patient?

OK. There is something definitely wrong with the icon/logo in this package, because I realised this one much later and yet here it is visible. I wonder what could prevent the image to work in the web page when it works in Application manager?

I wouldn't care if the icon is not shown in packages interface. The place where it matters is the Application Manager.
