few days ago i installed Usbcontrol app to my Nokia N900 as i thought i would find a use for it... Then today, i plugged the original Nokia USB cable to connect the phone with PC Suite, but for some strange reason it didn't work: nor PC saw the USB device, not N900 gave me a menu to sellect PC Suite or Storage Media selection...
Also, it didn't charge the phone via USB connection of my PC. I thought it could be something wrong with my office PC, so i tried to connect the phone to my home PC, but i saw the same thing...
I uninstalled that Usbcontrol app but it didn't change anything...
So now i don't know what to do...
Charging via the wall outlet adapter does work great, as before, and it still uses the same micro USB socket, so just the problem is with USB only data transfer and device detection.
Do you have any ideas how to fix that? Maybe some way to see or test the USB problem in X terminal?
Maybe i should reinstall the firmware or what other ideas you have?
Thanks a lot
