Hi,
As people found way to port JA2 to tablet would it be possible to get Fallout series work also? System requirements for Fallout 1 are quite modest:

10+ MB free space, mouse[2]
DOS version
Pentium 90 MHz, 32 MB RAM, 2x CD-ROM, SVGA, SoundBlaster-compatible sound card.

Win version
Pentium 90 MHz, 16 MB RAM, DirectX 3.0a or 5.0, 2x CD-ROM, SVGA, DirectSound-compatible sound card.

Mac
PowerMac, 16 MB RAM, CD-ROM, System 7.1.2.

Maybe DOS version could be run @ Dosbox?

More info about Fallout in here

Sorry.

No. There is no published open-source engine that has reverse engineered the Fallout games. You can wander around the maps with 'FIFE' though.

No. DosBOX will only emulate a 286 class x86. It's about 8 times too slow for fallout.

Yeah, I'm sure DOSBox would be pretty painfully slow on the NITs, unfortunately.

Perhaps if fife ever develops into a full fallout compatibile game engine that might be possible but at the moment it is not possible.
