alright, so my device now had the charging connector break, and now i'm unable to charge my device. I need to backup all of my contacts, etc.
While I'm waiting for ten goddamn days for nokia to repair my device, I need to put my contacts on a crappy dumb phone.
1. How can I grab my contacts off of the device without using the USB port?
2. Is there a way to view the contacts on a pc since I won't have an N900 for 10 days?

And for viewing on the PC - PC Suite may be able to view them, though that doesn't look to work offline. You can also export them on the N900 in vcard format, which you should be able to import into most applications dealing with contacts (Outlook, Thunderbird, etc).

nevermind, I got the contacts exported.. but I'm still not sure how to SSH to my device? I've tried searching but I can't find a guide to SSH'ing to the N900?
