After replacing my LCD and Touch Screen my phone has vertical lines.

I am able to read and see everything, but the display is simply not as sharp and the colors are not accurate.

Right after the repair, the screen worked perfectly until the first screen time out.

When I upgraded to the latest Maemo, the screen once again worked perfectly until the first timeout.

I am wondering if it's a driver problem or the display resolution/color depth is wrong.

1- If this was done by a Nokia repair point have them try again.

2- If you replaced it yourself how sure are you of the replacement parts you used? Also, recheck the connections to ensure they are proper and snug.

Thank you for the reply...The parts had the same part numbers as the original damaged parts and they were Korean...

I do want to point out that my phone was one of the first 100 sold in the U.S. and when it broke, it sat un-used and uncharged for about a year.

Attached are pics of the screen. When the background is black or white, I don't see the problem...It's only when I have colored backgrounds...

You could try to get the New LCD screen replaced again , You could go back to the store from where you bought it ... and replace it ..

Probably i strongly think it should be a problem with the LCD or the wires connecting the LCD to the device
