I try to install app on 2008 OS in N810. But it depend on libc6 >= 2.7.

I hope to know if that is possible? thx!

What app, and how did you install it? The apps in the Maemo repositories should all resolve dependencies automatically.

sth from debian such as polipo htop less sysklogd klogd all depend on new libc6.

They probably just depend on the libc version provided by the distribution they were built for. In most cases they should just work if you rebuild them with a maemo-appropriate libc dependency or even better use "${shlibs:Depends}" (or even remove it altogether since having a libc is a given).

Note however that most of the packages you mention are already available in the Diablo tools repository so you can save yourself some work by using those :-)
