Is it somehow possible to hide a clock in top of N900? I mean that clock what is always visible. I wish that I could hide it somehow, but can I?

I did not try, but I expect that removing the clock section from /etc/hildon-desktop/status-menu.plugins should do the trick. If that is not enough, removing/usr/lib/hildon-desktop/clock-plugin.so and /usr/share/applications/hildon-status-menu/clock-plugin.desktop should work.

Thank you for your reply. I edited that file and removed those lines (surely I took backup before it). Then restart hildon-desktop, but nothing. Then I just rebooted the device and after that, clock is gone as I wish.

Thank you very much!

The program that needs to be restarted is hildon-status-menu, rather than hildon-desktop.
