i don't know how your provider shows you how much of your cap you've used (or by how much you've gone over), but for most i've ever seen they're crappy %'s, or even if they show a proper total, they're only updated every second day.

my solution is an app that could go through and check your call history and texting history and actively calculate how much you've spent, it's necessary that flagfall/txt/talk charges be completely user-definable. it could also be just a widgit.

so what do you guys think of my idea?
and does anyone know if this is possible?

thanks team!

Definitely useful. If you can put a date range (start date and end date) since the billing time is different for every provider.

For now: I will not be able to use it since I am already moved to unlimited plan because of the cap thing. The provider charge you higher for every minute you overused. So might as well use unlimited and dont have to worry with the cap anymore.

I think you are talking about data-plan, I thought this calc would count everything, including calls and SMS

yeah, text + calls, but not the data plan ( as there is already a perfect widget for this in the repository) although we could integrate the two of them as the data plan moniter is exactly what i want, just if it could moniter other things too
no further advice for execution of this idea?
