I started experiencing a series of white-screen lock-ups requiring hard resets whenever my N810 was plugged into power adapter and I did something computationally demanding.
After some experimenting, I determined that it was apparently due to failing battery. Problem went away entirely after I replaced the battery.
I pass this on as I had never encountered this effect in a mobile device with aging battery.

I got spontaneous reboots instead, but it may be related.

I guess the power adapter has grown weak too, when bug 6206 hasn't made the device unusable long before the battery became that weak..
