Hi Am new here. Am using a nokia n900. I am used to listening on my iphone to a radio station GOLD (www.mygoldmusic.co.uk). I am trying to listen on the nokia n900. I have tried entering the url of the audio stream into the multimedia app, it reports that the codec is not supported. I have even tried accessing directy the radio's webiste and then clicking on 'Listen' this does not go. Can anyone help me please? Thanks to everyone Eamonn

I tried it myself on my N900 in kmplayer and the default music player. Seems to be a codec problem with some Microsoft codec (ASF?). I even couldn't get the stream to work at my desktop Ubuntu machine. Tried mplayer (recommended on the GOLD website), vlc, totem (gstreamer) and xmms2 (with asf plugin).
mplayer reported the following:
Code:

The .asx file the stream url returns to me has the following content:
Code:

<p>Server object</font> <font face="Arial" size=2>error 'ASP 0177 : 800401f3'</font>

Some other asf-streams I tested worked, so I will check your radio later from Windows, maybe I can find a solution.
