Hi,

I want to share the my Music folder (which is stored on a partition on my main hard drive) on my Windows 7 PC with my n900. Can anyone tell me if this is possible? and if so, can you give me step by step instructions?

I messed around with homegroup and network settings but couldn't get it working

Thanks

Yes Windows 7/Vista can do that from out of the box. Or use Tversity to do the Media Centre.

Windows XP you will need Tversity or something like this to broadcasting stream music to wireless or LAN network.

Hope this help.

Tversity is free.

By just turn on Media Sharing from the connection preference and put the music into the music folder in My Documents or redirecting it by scanning to make a library for Windows Media Player.

Windows Media Player 12 will deal with it for you automatically
