i usually knew that this is usual, but when i see this happening on my n900, i made this thread.

its not really a problem to me. the case is when someone sent me an SMS, IM or Email, the notification light lit first. i was at that time searching for unread messages, after 15-20 secs of searching, a "BEEP" comes in with my message.

is this normal, or i need an expert on this one?:

I also have a slight delay (maybe 5 seconds or so) from when the light starts to flash until the actual notification pops up. I would be willing to bet if you are running multiple applications and taxing the CPU the delay would increase. Perhaps thats the cause of your problem.

oh that's good to hear, same goes for charging my phone,

when im running a full 100% cpu usage, and charge the phone after, it took 5-10 secs before it displays charging or the note light lit up, and the battery is just red, not drained.

when this happened, i was thinking that i already have the usb port problem, so i sighed and hope everything is ok. sometimes, i cant wait for the charging note be displayed, then unplug and replug the charger, but in doing that, i get an instant charging on the retry.

so at least i can breathe now. hope still my charging delay with a 100% cpu usage is not a usb problem.

i was gonna put a smiley on the title to make it more not so serious (like it would appear as a joke or something fun)
