tThere are three apps that drive me nuts in terms of the hardware keys. In the rss
reader and the browser, i wish i could set the rocker keys to scroll around the page. jumping to the next link or ui widget is completely useless. And in Acrobat, i can't believe scrolling down or all the way PAST the right edge doesn't navigate to the next page. You mean have to bring up the context menu or waste screen real estate by showing the status bar so i can attempt to hit the tiny forward/back buttons? And why do i have to touch a field with my finger, or press the center select key, to bring up the thumboard? Why can't i enable it as the default?

The idea of the browser navigation is that the user would be able to navigate on web pages without the use of the touch screen - meaning only using one hand, the hard keys of the device. (And also with the bluetooth keyboard!) Otherwise the UI would require another mode or one hand use would be impossible.

Also, at least I personally prefer to use it sometimes, at least on web pages with really small links. Hitting them from the screen takes quite much precision and patience, using the HW keys much less so.

But yes, as somebody else also commented, you can scroll by holding the rocker keys down.
