Can anyone give me a hint how to get tethering working?

I have installed PC-connectivity-manager, and followed thi s http://pc-connectivity.garage.maemo....ion/node3.html instructions.

But no bnep0 interface ever comes up un the N900. And there seems to be no syslog on the N900, so I do not know, what goes wrong.

Any hints for me?
