One thing I've noticed on the N900 is the sluggishness of its menus. It gives me the illusion that the phone is slow and overclocking it doesn't make the transitions FPS rise any higher. I know that some will say that the menu transition speeds are just fine but if you compare it with the iPhone, there is a huge difference.

I've read about a way to remove the blur to make it seem faster, but is there a way to disable all the GUI animations and make it look flat and basic?
