I got a cheap n900 case from ebay for my n900, and one of the clips that holds the front part of the protector on broke. I'm looking for a better quality case (hard case to protect from drops) than the previous one. I figure by now at least one manufacturer should make a good one. Ideally, it should be slim, too.

I saw these Amzer cases are out now (on amazon, for example).

Has anyone tried any of these? What do you think?

It's amazing how those Amazon pics (the Amzer Case) has the same exact screen as the Nokia advertisement images, with that Marina Harrison chick on them. Can we say case Photoshop?

It seems an interesting choice on Amzer's part to cover up the N900's user facing camera and proximity sensor.

In other words, the case is fundamentally flawed and should be avoided. This is the same company that released a series of Palm Pre cases that covered the Pre's gesture area, making it impossible to use the phone.

Seriously guys, those color/clear case on eBay for 4-5$ just work and usually fit well (5 out of 6 pieces fitted well, one of the front was a little loose but still didn't fall (from 3 cases set i got (clear, black, red)).

Yeah, i love the one that i got... I just wanted one that was a little higher quality (i.e., more durable). Mine didn't survive a single drop from a couple feet (though my phone did just fine inside the case).

Then the case did its job.

I would expect a case to possibly sustain aesthetic damage, but still physically function. This does not. As such, it isn't doing its job.

Thanks for the valued input.

for some damn reason all the amzer cases sold out...everywhere. The expected delivery time on Amazon (last i checked) was shipped...in 1-3 months!?!

I decided to try buying from fommy.com and I totally regret it. Fommy has THE worst customer service ever. On top of that, when I ordered my Amzer product, it said it was in stock , but now it says it's out of stock on my order invoice! So I try to find out when they expect to get restocked and i haven't heard back. Stay away from Fommy.com.
